About Me

Me and Us

I am a business leader, strategist, writer and speaker with over three decades of experience across telecommunications, energy and electric mobility.

My professional journey has taken me through leadership roles at Tata Teleservices, Reliance Communications, Vodafone Idea, Tata Power, Reliance BP Mobility (Jio-bp) and Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited, working on business strategy, digital transformation, customer experience, large-scale infrastructure, corporate restructuring and the energy transition.

What Fascinates Me

While the industries have changed, one lesson has remained constant.

Technology alone rarely transforms an industry. Real transformation happens when technology, policy, business models and human behaviour evolve together.

That intersection continues to fascinate me.

A Lifelong Student

I graduated in Electrical Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai, and later completed my Master of Management Studies (Marketing) from NMIMS, Mumbai.

Learning, however, has never stopped.

As technology reshaped industries, I returned to the classroom through executive programmes including Marketing in a Digital World from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Introduction to Blockchain Technologies from INSEAD, Singapore, and Artificial Intelligence for Business from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

This blend of engineering, management and continuous learning has shaped how I approach problems … grounded in technology, but always through the lens of customers, markets and execution.

A Ringside View of Change

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working closely with governments, policymakers, utilities, OEMs, charge point operators, technology companies, investors and business leaders.

These experiences have given me a ringside view of how industries evolve… and sometimes, why they don’t.

I am also a regular speaker at industry forums, sharing perspectives on business transformation, customer experience, artificial intelligence, electric mobility, energy transition and the future of technology.

Why I Write

Beyond work, I write.

Not just about electric mobility, but also about leadership, customer experience, artificial intelligence, public policy, sustainability, travel, behavioural change and the future of India.

Many of my articles (most of which have been published in reputed publications) begin with a simple observation … a conversation with a customer, a policy announcement, a road trip, a discussion with my daughters, or an everyday experience that reveals a larger lesson.

I enjoy connecting seemingly unrelated dots and translating complex ideas into practical insights that business leaders, policymakers and everyday readers can relate to.

This Blog

This blog is my thinking space.

Some posts challenge conventional wisdom and some of them merely simplify complex issues. And then there are those that simply capture moments that made me stop and think.

Together, they reflect my curiosity about how our world is changing—and what those changes mean for businesses, institutions and society.

If there is one thread that connects everything I write, it is this:

The future will not be shaped by technology alone. It will be shaped by the quality of the experiences we create, the confidence we inspire, and the institutions we build.

Whether you are here because of electric mobility, leadership, artificial intelligence, customer experience, public policy, travel …or simply a shared curiosity about the future … I hope you find something here that makes you think.

Welcome.
